All organisations process “personal data” and may process “special categories of personal data” as defined in the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – which came into force in the UK from 25th May 2018. The Data Protection Act 2018 sits alongside the UK GDPR and they work together. This organisation – aDaVista – is no exception.

aDaVista is based at 21 Lovelace Gardens, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 4NT. We may hold data electronically and/or in structured manual format. We may process “personal data” (as defined in UK data protection legislation) as part of our contracted services and/or in administrative procedures. If we need to process “special categories of personal data “ (known as sensitive personal data under the DPA) you will be made aware of the fact and the intended purpose at the time of collection.

We may share data with third parties as part of our contracted services and/or if we are required to do so by UK law, but please note that we cannot be responsible for any processing conducted by a third party outside our remit.

As required by law, we have conducted a “cookie audit” on our website. We do not utilise these “internet files” in any obtrusive fashion. This website does not use any such cookies.

Information we hold is reviewed regularly and if we haven’t been in contact for a while, we will endeavour to keep records accurate and up-to-date when we want to use it. When data is no longer relevant to the purpose for which it was collected, it is securely destroyed.

None of the above affects your rights under the legislation. You may withdraw your consent to our processing at any time – please contact us to put this in place.
